Who We Are
Our extensive experience working for both insurers and policyholders allows us to evaluate claims fairly and objectively. We understand the unique challenges faced by all parties and work to facilitate fair and efficient settlements.
Our Founder, Marc Bitner, is an Independent General Adjuster and Loss Consultant with 24 years of insurance experience; time split equally representing both policyholders and carriers.

What is “Alternative Dispute Resolution”?
Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) is a method of resolving insurance conflicts without the high costs and delays commonly associated with litigation. "ADR" works by allowing impartial third parties to assist in resolving the disputed elements of the claim.
M. Bitner Consulting Group offers unique “ADR” services for conflicts arising from all property-related insurance claims. We resolve disputes for both policyholders and insurance companies quickly and economically. We act as an appraiser or umpire on insurance claims where the insured or carrier has invoked the Appraisal Clause commonly found within the insurance policy. M.Bitner Consulting Group provides a customized, full report along with detailed photo documentation and an RCV/ACV estimate prepared by our Xactimate Level-3 Certified estimators. About Our Founder
Marc Bitner
Founder
Marc Bitner began his career in 2001 as an Independent Adjuster (“IA”) with a global independent adjusting firm. Working closely with an Executive General Adjuster, he developed a strong foundation in thoroughness, attention to detail, and most importantly, integrity. He was quickly promoted to District Regional Manager, overseeing most of the Rocky Mountain West. For 12 years, Marc also handled a vast array of property claims as a General Adjuster and played a key role in hiring, training, and mentoring both daily and catastrophe adjusters.
Preceeding the impending sale of the IA firm in 2018, Marc played an instrumental role in growing a local public adjusting startup into one of the most well-known and respected companies in the country. As Vice President of Operations and Claims, he made intrinsic contributions to the company's prestigious recognition as one of Inc. 5000's "Fastest Growing Companies in America" for four consecutive years. Throughout his tenure, he held multiple positions, including operations, adjusting, marketing, sales, IT, and compliance.
Transitioning gave Marc a unique perspective on the overall claims process. He learned the importance of fostering positive and mutually beneficial relationships with all parties involved. His guiding principle is simple: "Adjusters are adjusters, regardless of which side of the fence they are on."
Marc founded M.Bitner Consulting Group in 2021 to provide expert, ethical, and effective solutions for the entire insurance community. He welcomes the opportunity to assist with your property claim and demonstrate why we are the trusted choice for exceptional claims handling.
